Description
The A&S 100 Eco air purifier is composed of a pre-filter, a HEPA 13 filter medical grade, an activated carbon filter and a cold catalyst. These last three are replaced regularly and are sold in the form of a block to facilitate their maintenance and replacement.
- The pre-filter helps retaining all macro-particles (big dust, animal hair...). It protects the filtration system and its antimicrobial treatment helps fight against bacteria and viruses.
- The HEPA H13 medical grade filter allows to filter 99.95% of ultra-fine particles (0.3 microns or 1/300th of the diameter of a hair). HEPA is not a brand name but an industry standard that stands for "High Efficiency Particulate Air".
- The activated carbon filter absorbs VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and filters some of the odors found in your indoor air (cigarettes, aerosols, etc.).
Finally, the cold catalyst with the effect of the UV lamp destroys the last fine particles as well as certain bacteria and viruses that would have passed through the previous filters.
