Description
The A&S 200 Medium air purifier and humidifier model includes a UV lamp. The UV lamp, combined with the cold catalyst system, destroys pollutants and fine particles, including contaminants (bacteria, viruses) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as formaldehyde, by mineralizing them.
If you wish to use the cold catalyst function, it is important to make sure that your UV lamp is switched on, otherwise the chemical reaction will not take place.
Tips & Advices
We recommend that you change the UV lamp after 15,000 hours of use, which is approximately two years of use.
It is recommended to turn on the lamp at least two hours before changing the filters of the air purifier, in order to remove any viruses and bacteria that may be present after being captured by the filters during the air filtration process.
It is also recommended to change the A&S 200 Medium filter pack for the AIR AND HEALTH A&S 200 air purifier regularly.
